This is not a job for me this is my career. I fueled by the smiles in the mornings, the hugs, the bright faces when they enter the building. I am blessed to be in this field and I would not change it for anything. I have a passion for my little ones to see them development from infants into toddlers, into preschoolers, and into kindergarten. It is a feeling like no other when a parent says "thank you."
I am sure we all get a tear when we hear the remarkable job we are doing as early childhood professionals, teachers, or volunteers. Let's keep providing remarkable experiences.
Being an early childhood educator is a unique profession that is beyond career, it is a life calling. As teachers our influence is eternal, you can never tell where it stops. "Children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression”.
